Dr Shahzad Riyaz has over 15 years of experience of working in the United Kingdom. He has worked as a Consultant Gastroenterologist / Hepatologist in various UK hospitals and is currently working as a Consultant Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad. In addition to general gastroenterology/Hepatology, he has a special interest in Transplant Hepatology, ERCP, EUS and Hepato Pancreato-biliary medicine. He is a keen interventional endoscopist and manages complex IBD patients. He has been awarded with Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians. He has Certificate of Specialist Training in Gastroenterology, General Medicine and Hepatology. He has a passion for teaching and has been awarded with a MSC in Health Professional Education from the University of Glasgow.
